Legally Blonde

In collaboration with Elon University’s Performing Art department, and Elon’s Engineering department, the task was to create animatronic dogs to portray Rufus and Bruiser for Elon University's production of the musical Legally Blonde. As the project lead, I Led a team in the development of shells and figure finishing for both dogs. The dogs were brought into Fusion 360 where their meshes were used to develop 3D printable shells that would fit onto 2 robot quadrupeds(Hiwonder Puppypi and Unitree GO1). Additionally, within Fusion, 3d printable molds were modeled so that the dog heads could be cast in silicone. Upon completion of the figure finishing and programming, the dogs were handed off to Elon's Engineering department to pilot for live performances.
